The Scene You Are Building

Fresh flowers daily, apparently forever.

The florist got here early. Hanging plants swing above the entrance, vines climb the brickwork and bouquets crowd every surface that will hold one. A green arched door anchors the facade, a window swings open over the display, and inside, a plant wall turns the back of the shop into a sheet of foliage: layers of green against warm brick.

The 248 pieces come pre-cut, the finer details pre-painted and the paper accessories printed, so five to six hours go on the good parts: raising the shopfront, hanging the plants one by one, dressing the window and training vines up the facade. An intermediate build, more arranging than gluing, and the plant wall rewards patience over skill. Switch on, and the foliage glows.

For people whose windowsills are already full, and an easy gift for gardeners, plant parents and flower-market regulars. Between plant-care manuals or well-read paperbacks, it becomes the florist's you always slow down for, still open long after dark.

Does it light up, and are batteries included?

Yes: Warm-white LED sign and interior, touch switch. Batteries aren't included, so have some ready for the moment you finish.

Batteries for the LED light (2 × AAA), which aren't in the box. In the box: the illustrated manual. A craft knife or fine sandpaper helps tidy edges.
