Collection: Vehicles

Brick-built vehicles engineered for display — open-wheel race cars, GT endurance racers, a racing superbike, a 1:8 scale expedition 4×4, a supersonic airliner and an 8×4 heavy construction truck. Most use mechanical-style parts with working steering, suspension or piston engines, so the build is as satisfying as the finished model.

Sets range from 1,361 to 2,793 pieces and from about £30 to £120. The race cars are the easiest way in: 1,300–1,700 pieces, a weekend’s build, and they line up as a grid on a shelf. The 4×4 and the construction truck are longer projects with real engineering inside.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Technic-style sets?

They use the same kind of beam-and-pin mechanical parts, with working features such as steering, suspension and moving pistons. They are independent sets, not official Technic™ products.

How big are the 1:8 scale models?

The race cars are roughly 55–60 cm long when finished; the off-road 4×4 is around 45 cm. Each product page lists the exact dimensions.

Do the vehicles come with display stands or plaques?

Several do — check the “What’s in the box” section on each product page. Where a stand is included it is listed there.

Are the instructions in English?

Instructions are step-by-step picture diagrams, the same format used by the major brands, so no reading is required. Digital copies are available from our Building Instructions page.

BuildMOC sets are independent, unbranded building-block sets that use standard interlocking-brick dimensions, so they are compatible with major brick brands including LEGO®. BuildMOC is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group.
