Grand Centrepiece Build

The Most Famous Ocean Liner in History, in 9,090 Bricks

This is not a casual build. The RMS Titanic brick display model is a 9,090-piece tribute to the most legendary ocean liner ever launched, reconstructed in stunning detail and stretching an extraordinary 135 cm long when complete. It is a very large-scale project — the kind that fills evenings over many weeks, genuinely tests an experienced builder, and ends as the proudest piece on any shelf.

Every iconic feature is captured: the sweeping hull lines, the multi-tiered decks, the four signature funnels, the lifeboats, and the elegant proportions of the Edwardian era’s grandest passenger ship. The included brick-built display stands present the finished hull at the correct height and angle for proper, dignified appreciation.

We will be straight with you: this is a challenging build. At nearly ten thousand pieces it demands patience, a decent working surface and a methodical approach — and that is precisely why finishing it feels so good. Builders who take their time with it consistently tell us it is the most rewarding set they have ever completed. If you want a project rather than an afternoon, this is the one.

How to Approach the Bags — Please Read Before You Build

This is a very large-scale project — plan for it. At 9,090 pieces this is one of the biggest sets we stock. It is best approached across many sessions rather than a single weekend, and it rewards a calm, methodical pace. Clear yourself a proper working area before you begin.

1. The bags are not numbered to the manual — do not build in bag order. The pieces arrive as a quantity of smaller bags packed inside several larger bags. Any numbers or letters printed on a bag (for example −1, −2, S1-1, S1-2) do not correspond to the stages or numbered sections in the instruction manual. Please do not try to work through the set bag by bag — nothing is missing, the bags simply are not sequenced to the build.

2. Sort the bags first — this is the single biggest time-saver. Before you begin, open the bags and sort the contents by piece type, size and colour wherever possible. On a set this size that one step makes the build considerably easier. Trays, tubs or a compartment box kept alongside the manual work well and keep parts findable across sessions.

3. Build from Step 1 of the manual, and find the pieces it calls for. Start at Step 1 in the instruction booklet, look at the pieces that step requires, and locate them in your sorted parts. The manual is the sequence — the bags are just storage.

4. Pieces for one section are often spread across several bags. If you cannot see a particular brown, red, grey or beige piece in the bag you are currently looking through, it does not mean it is missing — please check across the other bags as you progress. Because of the sheer size of this set it does require more sorting than a standard numbered building set, which is exactly why we flag it here before you order.

Our Missing Piece Promise. If you work through the set and find a piece is genuinely missing or damaged, there is no need to return anything. Send us a photo or screenshot of the required pieces from the instruction manual along with the quantities needed — we will identify them and post you exact replacements free of charge, usually within 2–3 working days. We definitely don’t want you stuck halfway through the build.

Did You Know?

Built in Belfast
The real RMS Titanic was built at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast and launched in 1911 — at the time, the largest ship afloat.
Maiden Voyage, 1912
Titanic departed Southampton on her first and only voyage on 10 April 1912, bound for New York via Cherbourg and Queenstown.
269 Metres of Ship
The original liner measured about 269 metres long — this model condenses her into a still-imposing 1.35 metres.
Found After 73 Years
The wreck lay undiscovered until 1985, when a joint French–American expedition located her around 3,800 metres down in the North Atlantic.
“A legend of the sea, rebuilt one brick at a time — and this one stays proudly above the waterline.”

Please Read Before Ordering

A very large-scale, challenging project: with 9,090 pieces this is an advanced build that most people complete over several weeks rather than a weekend. It is hugely rewarding, but it is not a quick or casual set — please buy it as a project, and bear that in mind if you are buying it as a gift for someone new to building.

Bags are not numbered to the manual — expect to sort: pieces come as smaller bags packed within several larger bags, and any codes printed on them (for example −1, −2, S1-1, S1-2) do not correspond to the stages or numbered sections in the instruction manual. Do not build in bag order. Sort the bags by piece type, size and colour before you start, then work from Step 1 of the manual and find the pieces each step calls for. A set this size needs more sorting than a standard numbered building set — please be happy with that before ordering.

Pieces are spread across bags: the parts for one section of the build are often split between several different bags. If you cannot find a particular brown, red, grey or beige piece in the bag you are looking through, check the others as you go — it very rarely means anything is missing.

Missing pieces support: if a piece is genuinely missing or damaged, please contact us before opening a return. Send a photo or screenshot of the required pieces from the instruction manual along with the quantities needed, and we will identify them and post exact replacements free of charge, usually within 2–3 working days — so your build never has to stop.

Outer box condition: due to the size and weight of this set, the outer retail box may show some cosmetic marks from transit and storage — dents, scuffs or minor tears can occur. The contents inside are unaffected. If you are buying this as a sealed-collector gift, please factor this in before purchase.

Display space required: the finished model is approximately 135 cm long — please make sure you have a suitable space before purchasing. A sideboard, dedicated shelf, mantel or low cabinet works well.

Unassembled kit: the completed model shown must be assembled using the included pieces and instructions.
